ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

1. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years at the time of admission or should have completed the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
2. The minimum educational requirements shall be passing of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) (Or).
3. Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), pre-degree Examinations (10+2) (Or)
4. An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized Board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum 45% aggregate marks (PCBE); for SC/ST candidates – the minimum percentage of marks is 40%.

Every candidate before admission to the course shall submit to the Principal of the institution, a certificate of medical fitness from an authorized medical officer that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic course.

Note

The candidate who has passed any qualifying examinations other than the Higher Secondary Course Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu, before seeking admission to any one of the affiliated institutions shall obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the University by remitting the prescribed fees along with application form which shall be downloaded from the University website (https://www.tnmgrmu.ac.in/)

Documents Needed For Admission

Originals along with attested xerox copies of the following documents are needed.
  1. Mark sheets (Tenth and Twelfth)
  2. Transfer Certificate
  3. Community Certificate
  4. Adhar Card
  5. Ration Card
  6. Pan card (optional)
  7. Migration Certificate (For students who studied other than Tamilnadu)
  8. Eligibility certificate (For students who studied other than Tamilnadu)
  9. Medical Fitness (original) with reports of the mentioned tests
  10. Conduct and Attendance certificate
  11. Passport size photograph (6 No's)
